Dome Shaped Mould.

Dome Shaped Silicone Mould  And here it is, a new mould, made in silicone as a one cavity, there will be the option to select multiples with a discount. We will also be making this in plastic for Bath Bombs as a multi cavity and possibly a single, I did try to make bath bombs in the silicone but far too much play for the bombs to demould and retain their shape.

And so I really need to work out a name for this mould, on one hand it looks like a star, then a comet, and then it reminds me of a firework or a rocket. Dome mould really doesn't do anything really interesting to my mind but I love this mould.

And so I made Melt and Pour Soap using the 6 different coloured mica powders, both soaps weigh a slightly different weight because I hadn't chopped enough soap base but the mould will hold between 65g and 75g of soap which includes the fragrance and the mica.

New Mould in the Making

It has been a while but we now have a new mould master being made. I am excited really because I see this new mould, which we will make in both plastic and silicone so will hopefully make brilliant bath bombs and matching soap, as a little different, it isn't a shape that I have seen before. It is a little quirky and I am hoping with give bath bomb makers something a little different from the spheres, eggs and hearts. We are also hoping that before Christmas 2015 we can also make at least two other moulds, its has been a slow year for new designs, so much that we want to do but simply haven't had the time. As there are no photos to show you just yet, here are a few photos of moulds that we have already made and have on The Moulds Shop website
